CINCINNATI BELL/WEBN RIVERFEST FIREWORKS CELEBRATION ON BB RIVERBOATS
Again this year, there will be no better vantage point for the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks than right on the river aboard the River Queen (same name, different more spacious boat) with The Wellness Community's friends and supporters. Our annual Fireworks Cruise will take place Sunday, August 31st, on the BB Riverboat's River Queen, which will cruise the mighty Ohio River right behind the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN fireworks barge. Guest will board at 4pm for a sightseeing cruise on the Ohio River complete with a buffet dinner and complimentary soft drinks, beer and wine, and then sit back and enjoy the spectacular Riverfest fireworks from the premier viewing spot on the river, very near the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN fireworks barge. Will be returning to the dock at approximately 11pm. The all-inclusive price of $175 for adults, $125 for children under 18 includes tax and gratuities -- plus, a portion of the ticket price is considered a tax-deductible donation to The Wellness Community to help fund the non-profit cancer support agency's free and professionally facilitated programs of support, education and hope for people diagnosed with cancer, cancer survivors, and loved ones. For an additional charge, there will be Texas Hold 'em, a raffle and balloon ops for you to enjoy during the cruise. You leave and return from the BB Riverboats dock in front of Newport on the Levee at 101 Riverboat Row, Newport, KY. EVENING OF HOPE....A CELEBRATION OF LIFE Presented by Mercy Health Partners Saturday, October 4, 2008 Mercy Health Partners and Speaking of Women's Health are partnering with The Wellness Community on an Evening of Hope....A Celebration of Life. This inaugural "not to be missed" celebration of cancer survivorship will include an evening of great food and entertainment in an incredible venue - the renovated historic Manor House (formely the Fleischmann Estate), which has just recently been opened to the public. The evening will include dinner and drinks, a nationally renowned cancer survivor and entertainment by Ted Wulfers and Beggars Bridge a Chicago based touring band. VIP Reception 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Dinner and entertaiment 7:30 - 11:30 pm. Tickets are $150 for the VIP Reception, dinner and entertainment or $75 for dinner and entertainment alone. More details to follow.
