The Wellness Community Programs
"Combining the will of the patient with the skill of the physician – A powerful combination.”
Harold Benjamin, Ph.D.
Cancer… it can be a difficult and lonely road. Trying to balance doctor appointments, treatments, and side effects with life, work, and family can deplete even the most determined. Coping with the emotional burden can be exhausting.
When first diagnosed with cancer, many people experience a sense of isolation, a perceived loss of control, and feelings of hopelessness. In fact, most people dealing with a cancer diagnosis experience a wide range of emotions throughout their cancer journey.
There is hope!
The Wellness Community offers a variety of programs and support groups. Individuals with cancer, their friends and their family can choose to participate in any or all of the programs that meet their needs.
Find out how we can help you in your journey with cancer by attending a Newcomer's Group on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. Meet our Program Director, tour our home and learn what education, companionship, support and hope mean at The Wellness Community of Central NJ.
All TWC programs are offered completely free of charge.
