Our Memberships & Partnerships
The Wellness Community (TWC) is proud to belong to a number of national patient advocacy coalitions and partnerships.
These include:

Alliance for Childhood Cancer
The Alliance for Childhood Cancer aims to provide a forum of national patient advocacy groups and medical and scientific organizations which meets regularly, shares ideas and concerns, and works collaboratively to advance research and policies to prevent cancer, and improve public education, and the diagnosis, treatment, supportive care and survivorship of children and adolescents with cancer.
Cancer Leadership Council
Formed in 1993, the Cancer Leadership Council (CLC) is a policy and advocacy group currently comprised of 27 cancer patient organizations, professional societies, and research organizations. Initially, the CLC focused on initiatives that would guarantee cancer survivors access to high quality care provided by cancer specialists. The agenda of the CLC, which is patient-centered, is set by the participating organizations, and CLC positions represent the consensus of the groups.
C-Change
C-Change is comprised of the nation's key cancer leaders from government, business, and nonprofit sectors who share the vision of a future where cancer is prevented, detected early, or is managed successfully as a chronic illness.
Former President George Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush are Co-chairs of C-Change; Senator Dianne Feinstein serves as Vice Chair. Currently there are about 130 C-Change participants, all of whom are central figures from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
