Our Mission

To help people affected by cancer enhance their health and well-being through participation in a professional program of emotional support, education and hope.

We offer support groups for people with cancer and their caregivers; educational workshops with top oncology professionals; stress reduction classes; and opportunities for people affected by cancer to come together as a community.

Thanks to the generous support of individuals, corporations and foundations, all programs at The Wellness Community are provided free of charge to participants.

Our Facility

Please visit our warm, homelike facility in Bethesda, Maryland.

Located in a small office building in a 35-acre park-like setting, there is ample free parking, walking trails and easy access to the Grosvenor Metro station (about a 15 minute walk or take the #6 RideOn bus).
