financial assistance programs
helping patients access their medications
What will treatments cost? What if I have to stop working? What if I don't have health insurance? How will the treatments be covered?
For many people affected by cancer, the financial burden of managing the disease is an over-arching concern. To help you navigate the financial concerns related to accessing your medications, The Wellness Community has compiled a list of payment assistance programs that help patients access their medications.
There are two ways you can use this resource:
1. Reference the “General Assistance Programs” list to access information on general payment assistance and co-pay assistance programs. These resources are not restricted to any specific drug manufacturer.
2. Locate the company that makes your medication on the list “Manufacturer Patient Assistance Programs”. (If you are not sure what company makes your medication, please inquire with your healthcare provider or run a quick search on the internet). Below each manufacturer is a list of the patient assistance programs (PAPs) that they participate in, along with their description and contact information.
We hope you find this tool useful. Please note that his information is being provided as a resource. The Wellness Community cannot guarantee success in securing payment assistance.
