www.sisterstudy.org
The Sister Study is recruiting women, particularly seniors and minorities, whose sister had breast cancer, to study how environment and genes affect the chances of getting breast cancer. Convenient and non-invasive; it is conducted by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services.

Life After Colorectal Cancer Treatment Study
http://www.temple.edu/sbhi/
Have you been treated for colon or rectal cancer? This study is looking for volunteers to help understand how to improve people's lives after treatment for colon or rectal cancer. Participants must have been treated for Stage I, II, or III colon or rectal cancer within the past 5 years, have no other cancer, and be able to read and write in English.

All study participants will receive a free copy of the National Cancer Institute's book, "Life After Cancer Treatment." The study involves completing two telephone interviews and some brief writing about life after cancer.

This study is funded by the National Cancer Institute and is being run by researchers in the Department of Public Health at Temple University. For more information, please contact Deborah or Sandy: Toll-free: 1-888-464-0020 or email: lifeaftercancer@temple.edu
