Donations
The Wellness Community, Northern Jersey Shore - The Diney Goldsmith Center is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. Funding for operations and programs are obtained mostly through individual donations, but also through corporate donations, Foundation grants, and fund raising events. We will never apply to insurance companies for reimbursement. We will never apply to the government for assistance. Participants of The Wellness Community are never charged for any program or service.
Donations IN HONOR OF and IN MEMORY OF friends or loved ones are encouraged and will be acknowledged on the TRIBUTE page of our website. Beautiful personalized cards are sent to the recipients and/or families of your tribute.
If you would like to make a gift of support for The Wellness Community of the Northern Jersey Shore and help support friends and loved ones that have been touched by cancer, you can donate ON-LINE or through the MAIL.
Subsequent to our opening date of May 15, 2007, donations of $1,000 or more will be considered Sustaining Donations and the donor's names ( or the names that they specify ) will hang on the permanent HONOR WALL in The Wellness Community.

Where Your Gift Goes
Monetary gifts to The Wellness Community are used to increase and strengthen the current program offerings for the residents Monmouth and Ocean counties affected by cancer.
All money donated stays in our community helping our neighbors!
Matching Gifts
Many companies offer matching gift programs that can double or even triple your gift to The Wellness Community. When you make a contribution to The Wellness Community, PLEASE check with your company to see if they offer a "matching gift program" and apply appropriately. This takes minutes and can mean significant extra money to us.
Strategic Gifts
- Donating appreciated stock without being penalized for capital gains
- Naming The Wellness Community - Northern Jersey Shore as a beneficiary of part of your estate. (Gift can be directed to a particular program if desired.)
- Donating real estate or personal property and receiving tax benefits representing full market value.
