Suppose you or someone you love hears the words that no one ever wants to hear, "I'm sorry, but you have cancer."
Who would you call and where would you turn for help?
So often, a cancer diagnosis signals major upheavals in the lives of the person with cancer as well as family members, friends, employers and co-workers. A 1999 report issued by the U.S. Institute of Medicine acknowledges that in many American communities, important needs of people with cancer and their loved ones often go unmet. The Wellness Community - Montana offers a variety of professionally faciliated support groups, educational programs, retreats, and resources for participants in Bozeman and the surrounding communities.
